It just doesn't seem real yet and I just keep thinking we will see him soon. We had the meeting at the funeral home today and all of 4 of us went with mom. We made decisions but it wasn't as hard as we thought it might be. I think since we were doing it all together, it made things easier.

We will be having a viewing on Thursday December 8th from 4 pm to 8 pm at St Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville, Indiana. There will be a one hour viewing at 10 am on Friday December 9th followed by Mass at 11 am, also,at St. Agnes. St. Agnes Church is located on 1008 McLary Road Nasville, IN 47448.

We will continue to update as we get more information in place.

  1. We just found out about Donnie's death from Jimmy Matthews. We're thinking of all of you & hoping it will be easier for you as time goes on.

When we were young kids and lived just around the corner from Aunt Winnie & Uncle Don, I always thought Donnie was the "cool" one. He would probably laugh at that. He always seemed so much OLDER than Cate, Billy & Jimmy (this was pre-Ann!) not to mention me & my sister Mo.

I have several fond memories of Donnie getting Billy to stop teasing us (imagine that), and getting Aunt Winnie very quickly once when Jimmy got stung by a bee. If he felt freaked out, he didn't show it. I was freaked out and glad he was there! That was scary.

I lost my dad just over a year ago, and my heart goes out to all of you.
